Watch: Yinsonites around the world celebrate Yinson turning 40!
Our commitment to passionately delivering powerful solutions has been the cornerstone of our success. Guided by our Core Values, R.O.A.D.S., we transformed from a small transport agency in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, into a global energy infrastructure and technology company. Today, we are a diversified global group recognised for our leadership in sustainability, with businesses in offshore production, renewables, green technologies, offshore marine and asset management.
Since our inception, we have embraced a vision that transcends borders. As we reflect on the exponential growth of our global presence over the past four decades, we are profoundly grateful for the collective passion, talent, and diversity within Yinson—qualities that resonate globally and continue to propel us forward.
At the heart of our journey is a deep appreciation for our people. We prioritise our people because we understand that our greatest assets are the thousands of employees and crew around the world who proudly call themselves Yinsonites.

Everything started in September 2018, when I started working at Yinson as a Crewing Coordinator & Office Admin. There were always new experiences for me to explore during the pre-operations phase for FPSO Helang, while supporting in setting up the base office in Miri. There are a lot of great memories to share. One of it was when FPSO Helang set sail from China to Malaysia and first crew changes were successfully conducted in Miri, Malaysia. Achievement unlocked!

David Then
TECHNICAL & COMMERCIAL MANAGER, REGULUS OFFSHORE
One of my fondest memories at Yinson was being assigned to manage a 3rd party technical due diligence team to conduct inspections for FPSOs in Africa . Despite it being a first-time experience for both – being in Africa and visiting an FPSO – the team managed to complete the due diligence inspection and produce the report within the required timeline. Aside from work, I also had a great time enjoying the food, people and local culture. It was certainly more than a business trip for me; it was a journey of self-discovery and collective growth.
Afua Kesewa Gaise

This year marks my 8th year in Yinson! My fondest memory in Yinson was in the summer of 2019. I had to fill in for my manager who had an arm injury, so I had to work throughout my family vacation! It was a challenging few weeks, however, one morning at the end of summer, I walked into the office and was greeted by a lovely bouquet of flowers which the leadership team had sent as a sign of appreciation for the work I did during my vacation. I was deeply touched by this gesture.
Edward Mensah

It was amazing when I realised that Yinson had adopted and provided funds for the education of a few underprivileged children who were from my neighbourhood. It touched my heart to watch these young ones shop with much excitement for groceries, stationery and necessities whenever school resumes and their excitement is even greater whenever the CSR team makes their regular campus visits. I am appreciative of the leadership team’s adoption and investment in these communities.
